I was born in a Woonsocket, a small New England town that was heavily rooted in the textile industry. I grew up playing hockey, snowshoeing, hiking and hunting. I was also a musician and performed commercially for about 10 years.
I later moved and lived most of my adult life in Smithfield, a few towns away in a more rural agricultural town largely based on apple orchards. I served on the town planning board for six years and was heavily involved with local politics including the school committee.
I moved to Florida in 2013and found myself gravitating towards the Venice/ North Port area. At times I have lived as far North as Ellenton and as far south as Cape Coral and always return to this area. I find that it is the perfect mix of the small town "Main Street" feel, the Rural open area feel, and the abundance of entertainment opportunities.
